I think now that work is slowing down a little bit, I should start getting my social life back on track. Heh. Go out more and mix with people. This time I went with Jo and Shiv, but Shermaine as my plus one.

And this time, I got my bangs back.

First off, we celebrated MommaRalph’s birthday which was a day before mine!

Us As you can see my curls were very half-assed that day. I need to practice more with the curling iron.

I still went to work the next day, and got a little surprise for MichieMicrowaveQueen waiting for me at my desk in the morning.  Hehe, ever since Power of 1 ended, the three days that followed were slow days in the office, and I got to leave super early. Wasn’t really used to it at first. I remember looking at my watch at 9pm, and thinking to myself “ohmygod, I still have time for a glass of wine before I go to bed!”

Anyway, MichieMQ is trying to get my Choebie to stick as  my new nickname at work. Heh.

Also, it was MummyMarini’s birthday too! Yep, I share the same birthday as my boss. We all went out for lunch at Yuzu, super yummy place, but being lunctime at KLCC, it was crazy packed and the wait was a little longer than usual. Very noms Japanese food though!

Shame I had to rush with lunch (I literally wolfed own my huge lunch set in twenty minutes) to a meeting at PROTON. Heh. Just coz it’s your birthday, doesn’t mean the world stops. And with my luck and 1/8th of a tank of petrol, I missed the exit on the highway and ended up heading towards the airport! Good thing there was a petrol station nearby. I have never been happier to see a PROTON signage in my life!

SugaSammie came over before dinner and did my hair for me! These looked like real curls, not the half-assed ones I did the night before. I felt so glam and dolled up  So spoilt I even got a sash and balloon. Hehe clearly, it doesn’t take a lot to amuse me.

SugaSammie and SonChe started ordering shots when we adjourned to TwentyOne BSC.

Clearly, I didn’t like it. The waiter even forgot to pour in the mint/milk thing. Yuck!

MummyMarini doing late night early morning yoga. This was about 5am Saturday morning!

The PROTON Power of 1 event ran for five days from the 14th to the 18th of March. It was basically a showcase of PROTON’s commitment to be better. At the event there was a little sneak peek of the new Proton P321A in a black box

What you do is peep into little holes of that big black box which housed the new car. You would only get to see certain features of the cars like the meter combi, running day lights, tail lights… etc.

One of the items we had to develop was a SMS & Win poster, which was later mounted onto a big standee.

Another one was a BUY & Win poster, for those who bought cars.

Oooh ooh! This one was my baby. It was the first thing I got out! Hehe, sorry yeh, a little jakun here, being my first time working on an event. Getting all the items out was a real experience.

It was a Green Tech Design wall for the PROTON Green Concept Ctiy and Saga EV and Exora REEV.

There was also a showcase on PROTON Motorsport cars.

The PROTON Satria Neo S2000, which championed the APC rally in 2011.

Then there were stunts performed on the demo circuit of the Lotus F1 car and the S2000.

This is our event organizer, Jason. He was walking around with four walkies all day for five days. Now that’s what I call a loud ass!
