Happy September people! Welcome back Melbourne Spring, oh how I’ve missed you. 14 days til MommaChoe and ChefDaddy touchdown in Melbourne. 21 days til graduation!
I’ve been looking for a graduation dress for the past couple of months. I can’t justify paying too much for it, because at the end of the day, it’s going to be just another dress. Sigh. On top of that, I haven’t had much money to spend on things. If you follow me on Twitter, you’ll know that I returned a pair of shoes CheerTiff and I got while shopping on Friday. I tried to justify it as a graduation present to myself, but let’s face it. I’d rather spend the money on good food and wine.
*edit* Which happened anyway, seeing as I spent $60 on fruits and veggies alone.
Anyway, back to the search. Seeing as my gown will be black (and a tinge of turquoise) I figured why not go with a statement dress? Stick to nude heels and a matching clutch. And all I want is to color block!
But alas, I can’t find the money to buy what I want, when I want it. Ugh. The problems with being a student (well… you know what I mean).

That’s a great idea, but I don’t have the money for materials, I don’t have a sewing machine and I don’t know how to sew >.<
