I’m in the middle of editing photos of last weekend’s party and browsing the Internet while inside on a nice day. The weather this week in Melbourne is perfect. For picnics, jogs, barbecues. You name it. And then I stumbled upon this video while on 9GAG. And sure enough, it made me cry.
A few of years ago, I was sitting with a friend talking about art and music. This was while I was still in high school and sketched a lot. He was a musician and all he could do or talk about was composing music. The question came up of “If you had no choice, which would you rather lose? Your sense of sight or sound?”
Being the (so-called) “artist” I was at the time, I said I’d rather lose my sense of sound, because you miss out on the smallest joys in life without your sight. I stick to that today.
