By recommendation of TwilightActiongirl’s Bunga, I dragged a friend all the way down to Brunswick St today just so I could try out the Little Creatures Dining Hall. My friend, walking on what he’d call an ankle in the healing process grumbled “this place better be worth it” while walking down two blocks, was silenced when we walked into the place.
It looked pretty plain from the outside. We were just walking straight down the street. Good thing I saw it across the road. From the outside, it looks like any other restaurant in Fitzroy, but when you step inside, it’s big and bright, and just full of life! Even at 1.00pm in the afternoon, the place is full of people for lunch, from brunch or just coming in to have a couple of pints.

*photoprops to Google. It was nowhere as sunny today*

Today (Saturday) welcomes customers with a cook frying sausages right in front of the entrance. I can’t remember exactly what the blackboard behind him said, but there was leek & lamb hotdogs and some other porky hotdog. Yummo! It smelled good, but we had to look for a place to sit, it was so packed!

I think it’s a great place to just chill out over a Saturday afternoon. They don’t take reservations over the weekends, though, so you just gotta try your luck and walk on in!

Another thing I liked about the place: there are random trinkets all over. Just gotta take your time and look around.
I wanted to, but was starving from walking so much and waking up late-ish! Sleeping in on a Saturday morning is a given though.

Look at the prices!
I wanted to try all their ales, but we didn’t have enough time ![]()

Remember what I said about there being random things to look at? Try and see if you can spot a pair of shoes.

I like that you can come in a group, or just two of you and still be able to sit there for hours on end. The place has such a great vibe. Noisy, coz there are so many people, but not the bad kind of noisy.

The kitchen

My really fatty lunch! All for $26!

Still can’t rival the Sid’s Burger though… Nothing on the Sid’s Burger
I was in a pretty finger-trigger-happy mood, so I decided to play blogger/tourist and snap some photos!

Behind the bar

Oooh and they sell t-shirts! I’m gonna bring extra cash there next time. I hate how all merchandised t-shirts go for at least $30 a pop. Bloody daylight robbery, I tell you! -_-”

Ooh delivery bikes. These were so cute!

And a little bit about Where They Came From

Whats up! Fascinating posting! I am just a frequent visitor (alot more like addict
) of this website sadly I had a a doubt. I’m not actually absoluetly certain whether it is the right place to ask, but there are no spam comments. I recieve comments exactly like watch movies online regularly. Are you going to you assist me? Thanks.
To everyone the above commentors. Weblogs will be much better to read if You can keep Your comments brief and to the point. No-one likes to read giant comments when the content can be conveyed using a not as long comment.
I believe that this blog has interesting content overall.
Thank You for the excellent page – I loved reading it!
This is my problem…
