It’s the first time in my life that I bought a one-way ticket to somewhere. Even though I always knew that I was going to leave for Melbourne, and that it was a chapter of my life that’s inevitable, it was still very overwhelming saying goodbye to all my friends, kissing the Dealer goodbye and trailing my luggage behind me as I went through immigration. Watching the city lights (or the night lights, seeing as I was flying off from Sepang) was a whole other experience. It was quite sad saying a quiet goodbye to the city I grew up in.
I’ve got so many friends who have left the country to further their studies overseas, and have sent them off as well, but I’ve never had to experience those kinds of mixed feelings before today.
But that’s a whole other story altogether and I’ll get to that shortly. For now, here are a few photos from Urbanscapes 2010.

This was the first year that I attended Urbanscapes as a “patron” instead of a vendor with an All Access tag around my neck. The first time I didn’t smuggle a crate of beer into the proximity with my Coleman and park myself by a booth trying to make money off my old clothes and shoes.
Personally, this year’s Urbanscapes was a little of a letdown. The company was great, as per usual, the heat wasn’t as blistering because of the rain, but that had its own setbacks. The Marketplace was ridiculously muddy and that really just put me off my mood to shop. Initially, I didn’t plan to spend a lot of money there, since I wouldn’t be able to wear sundresses in Melbourne. But it just made browsing the stall all that much harder.

As you can see, the Marketplace wasn’t as swarmed with people as it usually is.

Bumped into SneakyNiki, Smashpop and DustyHawk. You can always count for some bloggers to be there.
They took part in the Angkat Rumah project earlier that day for charity

Dropped by the Tongue in Chic booth for some color!

SusuMilk asked to come join this competition where you snap a couple of photos of yourself dressed up in accessories that they had at their booth and you get to stand a chance to win an island getaway for 2. She had me at dress up!

I don’t think I did much of a job, but then again, it was all for fun and games.
What I Wore:
Dress: Online blog shop
Shorts: Cotton On
Sling Bag: Chatuchak Market, Bangkok
Gladiators: Nike
As usual, behind the TiC booth are the food stalls where I met up with DingaLing, Kimmie and MynameisM along with HandsomeShake and Zam

Urbanscapes will always be a little special to me. After all, some guy who was going to be known as the Dealer and I first met there a couple of years back. *awwwwww* – okay, enough layan sendiri-

Look, Mom! The Vespa matches my outfit! Can I have one?

With Shannzilla and Sherms. It was Sherms’ first time at Urbanscapes. I wish it was a better one for her to enjoy.
Well, that’s all for now. Will be posting from a different part of the world from now on! See you guys!

Glad we got to say bye in person there.
Hey hey! Yeah, at least we got to see each other before we both left the country.
Aiks, didn’t bump into you that day.
It is understandable that money makes people disembarrass. But what to do if someone does not have money? The one way is to try to get the mortgage loans or just credit loan.
I do think that you are the most experienced thought’ connected with this topic or just about custom research paper performer. Moreover, you have to be hired by the essay writing services to accomplish such kind of nice written essay.
Thanks for taking the time to share this, I feel strongly about it and love reading more on this topic. If possible, as you gain knowledge, would you mind updating your blog with more information? It is extremely helpful for me.
