Singapore photos are up! It was the first time I packed ridiculously last minute. Last minute meaning three hours before leaving the house! Going out to party the night before leaving on a trip was not a good idea. Even my dad said I looked damn bad shape. Haha. Crap.
In light of our recent (really, not so recent issue) of global warming, I decided to Go Green in Singapore! See if you figure what that means after reading this post.
After quickly settling e-mails and phone calls, Facebooking and all that we arrived at the old train station to hop onto the bus to Singapore! It was really comfortable on that bus! It didn’t matter that it took about 5 hours to get across the causeway, it was well affordable, better than Air Asia and I managed to squeeze in some massive bonding time with the Kid Sister.
I know, we live in the same house, but seem to be too busy for each other -__-”

Day #1
Fast forward five hours later! We arrive at the place where you present your passports to the immigration officers. Mine was kinda cute, but he had braces on! =\ Apparently, you don’t need to show your Malaysian I.D. when entering Singapore with a brand new passport, but I had to show him mine. Hahaha! Singapore has some very flirtatious men
First stop: Clarke Quay for some after dinnertime dinner and drinks! We settled at this little place called the Tapas Tree, on the corner of Clarke Quay, near the bridge.
It was really great being serenaded by Filipinos who sang in Spanish and English. We even sang along after a few glasses of Sangria =p
The Kid Sister and II suddenly noticed that we were wearing the exact same clothes we wore to Bangkok about three years ago =S
Day #2
I met up with Bo, who dropped in from Johor that weekend and the FIRST thing he asked me was for my water bottle. You know, those you get on your bedside tables in the hotel rooms.
“Eh, Choe… Can I have that please?”
“Sure, but you have something to drink already what… I’m sick”
“I don’t want to drink, I want the bottle”
“But it’s still full of water!”
“Pour the water into the big bottle!”
HAHAHAHA. Fucking hell, Singaporeans really know how to take care of their country. Have to use plastic bottles as ashtrays in cars. We were starving and couldn’t pin point the right roads to take. I tell you… ERP=Everday Rob People. Damn expensive man. Freaking toll was $2.00 everytime you pass by!
Bo was obviously damn broke by the time we found the right street for some power chap fan.
After some massive lunch in masive proportions, we decided to brave the city’s heat and scout for a place that served some Guinness Draught. Mmmmmm.

Only to find a parking ticket on Bo’s car! Hahahahaaha! I don’t think he’d be planning a trip down south anytime soon =p
Zoom zoom back to the hotel room in the rain! I was so tired and feeling so sick after that, I crashed! It so totally didn’t make any sense that I was in a different country on vacation and I stayed in to sleep in the afternoon! What a waste.
That night we kena some really really good seafood at Long Beach, Dempsey Hill. I love the whole ambience to the place. If it weren’t so wet after the rain, it would’ve been great, but still It’s a nice place. I’m a sucker for nice lights.

Day#3
Proper shopping escapades started on day number three. Three pairs of shoes in four hours! I said to myself “I don’t care. Die die, must go shopping today!” After hitting the Heeren, Vivo City, Far East Plaza, Paragon, and Takashimaya I felt pretty defeated. I had my iPod in my left hand almost the whole time, doing the conversion rates and everything. So expensive can die man. The only thing I didn’t convert was food, or else I’d have starved!

By the way, HOW CAN THE WHOLE SINGAPORE BE SOLD OUT OF RAY BAN WAYFARERS?!
End to the trip? Hounding on MOS Burgers on the busride back home. Peace and love!
